Thomas Lenz

Thomas Lenz is a Research scientist at the University of Luxembourg's Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, affiliated with the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET). His work focuses on the sociology and history of education, as well as the sociology of consumption.

Education:

• PhD in Sociology (Dr. Phil) from the University of Trier, Germany
• M.A. in Sociology
• Teacher's degree in German and Politics

Research Interests:

• Sociology and history of education
• Sociology of consumption
• Institutional change in school systems

He has contributed to the second national Education Report for Luxembourg and previously conducted research on school history in Luxembourg.
