Isabell Eva BAUMANN is a Research Scientist at the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET), part of the University of Luxembourg's Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute for German Language, Literature and Interculturality and an Affiliated Member of the University of Luxembourg Institute of Digital Ethics (ULIDE). Her work focuses on integrating digital media and artificial intelligence into education, emphasizing equity, teacher support, and ethical frameworks.
Current research projects include GenAI@schools (exploring AI use in German and Luxembourg schools), the EICEL study (analyzing pandemic impacts on education), and TUTS (tablet use in Luxembourg secondary schools). Collaborations involve institutions like Hochschule Bielefeld and national policymakers.
BAUMANN contributes to interdisciplinary research on AI ethics, personalized learning, and sustainable digital education policies. She actively engages in teacher training, conference presentations, and policy discussions to bridge educational theory and practice.
Professional memberships include LuxERA (Luxembourg Educational Research Association), LGV (Lëtzebuerger Germaniste Verband), and international German studies networks. She is fluent in German, English, Luxembourgish, and French.
