His research investigates bacterial chemotaxis systems that regulate swimming direction in response to chemical cues, focusing on interactions between chemotaxis pathways and other regulatory mechanisms in beneficial soil bacteria. This work integrates biochemistry, molecular biology, and microbiology to understand altered bacterial physiology. Additional research experience includes examining host diet impacts on gut microbiome diversity across animal species during undergraduate studies.
