Research explores the ethics and politics of friendship as an antidote to authoritarianism and neoliberal conceptions of autonomy. His manuscript examines Ralph Waldo Emerson's influence on Nietzsche and Heidegger, framing friendship as foundational for human development. Current work investigates the religious and political implications of loneliness.
