Chris Lazaris

Dr. Chris Lazaris is a Lecturer at the Department of Management Science and Technology, School of Business, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He combines teaching with active research and participation in EU-funded R&D projects.

Educational Background:

• BSc in Physics, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens
• MSc in E-Commerce (MBA equivalent), AUEB
• PhD in Management Science & Technology, AUEB

His research focuses on Digital/Omnichannel Retail Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Information Systems, with publications in leading journals such as the International Journal of Electronic Commerce and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. His work spans interdisciplinary topics like store atmosphere, digital marketing, and e-commerce technologies.

Scientific Awards:

• Teaching Excellence Award for 'Information Systems Management' (2022-23)

Lazaris has taught courses including 'Digital Marketing,' 'Customer Relationship Management,' and 'Electronic Commerce and Internet Applications' at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is affiliated with the eBusiness Research Center (ELTRUN) and the Digital Marketing & Electronic Retailing (DIMER) research group.
