Doukidis Georgios

Professor Doukidis Georgios is affiliated with the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where he serves as Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology under the School of Business. His academic career spans over four decades, including roles at the London School of Economics (1981-1991) and as Visiting Professor at Brunel University (1996-2004).

• Education: B.Sc. in Mathematics (University of Thessaloniki, 1980), M.Sc. in Operational Research (London School of Economics, 1981), Ph.D. in Simulation/Artificial Intelligence (London School of Economics, 1985).

His research focuses on Management and Strategy of Information Systems, Electronic Commerce, Innovation, and Decision Support Systems. Recent work explores Digital Transformation, Omnichannel Retailing, and RFID Applications in supply chain optimization.
