Chris Gouramanis

Chris Gouramanis is a Research Fellow at the Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University (ANU), with a Visiting/Casual appointment from 2020–2024. He has held roles including Assistant Professor of Tropical Environmental Change at NUS (2016–2020), and Research Fellow positions at the Earth Observatory of Singapore (2011–2016). His educational background includes a PhD in Quaternary Studies from ANU (2009), and BSc/ BSc(Hons) degrees from ANU and La Trobe University.

His research focuses on coastal hazards, palaeoenvironmental reconstruction, and integrating science into policy.
