Dr. Chris Dabbs is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences and Counseling at Valparaiso University. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma State University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University. His clinical and research expertise focuses on psychological assessment, mental health in college populations, and identity development, particularly around autistic identity (neurodiversity-affirming perspectives), religious/spiritual identities, and secular/non-belief identities.
