Chika Mimura is a Lecturer at Rider University's Westminster Conservatory of Music, specializing in Suzuki violin instruction. She holds a Diploma from the Talent Education Research Institute in Japan and began violin studies at age three under the Suzuki method, training with Dr. Shin-ichi Suzuki and Richard Rood.
Her performance experience includes Sinfonietta NOVA in New Jersey. With over a decade of teaching experience in Japan and at The Institutes for The Achievement of Human Potential in Pennsylvania, she joined the Conservatory faculty in 2004.
