Dr. Chih-Ling Liu is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Lancaster University's Management School. She holds a PhD from Alliance Manchester Business School and serves as Programme Director for the MSc Advanced Marketing Management. Her research focuses on consumer culture theory, exploring consumption's role in identity formation and improving consumer welfare, particularly in Chinese contexts.
Teaching responsibilities include Advanced Topics in Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research (Qualitative), and Marketing Research and Consultancy Projects across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is an editorial board member of the Journal of Business Research since 2016 and actively contributes to academic communities like the Association of Consumer Research (ACR) and the University's Centre for Consumption Insights (CCI).
