Recent studies address transportation barriers for sickle cell patients, acceptability of obstetric procedures, and mental health stigma among healthcare providers. Her work bridges clinical practice, policy, and community engagement to improve healthcare equity in resource-limited settings.
Key projects include:
- USAID-funded Ghanaian social autopsy study (2022–2025)
- NHI global health training grant (ongoing)
- Multinational studies on IPV during antenatal care and maternal health policy challenges
Publications (2024–2025) highlight themes like:
- Health system barriers in maternal care
- Cultural influences on healthcare seeking
- Technological innovation in neonatal care
No awards listed, but her NIH and USAID grants reflect impactful research. Advising focuses on global health trainees through the training grant. Collaborates with Ghanaian institutions and international partners to address systemic healthcare challenges.
