Dr. Chenglong Yu is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI). He specializes in genetic epidemiology and statistical genetics, focusing on genome-wide association studies, polygenic risk scores, and epigenetics. His work contributes to the ASPirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly (ASPREE) study, Australia's largest randomized genomic cohort on aging.

Research Interests:
- Genetic epidemiology of complex diseases (cardiovascular, cancer, dementia)
- Statistical genetics and polygenic risk modeling
- Genotype-environment interactions
- Epigenetic mechanisms in aging
Current Project:
- Leading the "Precision prevention of cardiovascular disease using genomic risk stratification" project (2025–2026).
