Chenggang Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University where he serves as Graduate Program Coordinator. He teaches graduate-level Production Economics and undergraduate courses in Microeconomics and Agribusiness Enterprise Management.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Oregon State University (2007)
Dr. Wang's research specializes in water economics and production economics, focusing on enhancing water-use efficiency in agriculture through precision technology, UAV data collection, and satellite imagery analysis. His work integrates economic modeling with advanced technological applications to address resource management challenges in modern farming systems.
As Graduate Program Coordinator, he oversees the department's M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Agricultural and Applied Economics, managing academic progression and curriculum development for graduate students.
