Chen Wen is the Dean of the School of Public Health at Fudan University. He holds a PhD in Social Medicine and Health Management from Shanghai Medical University (1998) and served as a Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley (2000). He is actively involved in academic leadership roles, including Vice-Chairman of the Specialty Committee of Health Insurance at the China Health Economic Association, Executive Council Member of the China Health Insurance Research Association, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Health Resources magazine. His research focuses on health economics, health insurance systems, and public health management.
Chen Wen has led multiple research projects and published over 110 academic papers. He has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Shu Guang Scholar Award (2006) and the New Century Excellent Talents in Universities Award (2008). His professional engagements span national and regional health policy organizations, reflecting his expertise in health systems and management.
