Jamason Chen

Jamason Chen is a Clinical Professor and Operations Manager at the School of Communication, Loyola University Chicago. He joined in 2009 and oversees digital convergence studio development and media technologies for education and research. His cross-cultural career spans roles at the University of Minnesota, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and Shanghai Film Studios.

Chen specializes in Digital Technology Applications in Visual Communication, exploring cultural impacts of stereoscopic imagery, 360 VR visualization, and media ethics. His work bridges technical implementation with philosophical analysis of digital representation.

He curates photographic exhibitions, contributes to publications like Photo Creator and Chinese Photo, and serves as a reviewer for the Society of Photographic Education Conference since 2010. Current research focuses on cross-cultural communication in the digital age.
