Chelsea Murdock is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English and Director of the Writing Lab at Clemson University's College of Arts and Humanities. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Kansas (2017) and a BA in English from Kennesaw State University (2012). Her research focuses on Indigenous rhetorics, material rhetorics, and writing center theory/practice. She has held roles at Georgia Tech as Assistant Director of the Communication Center and a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow.
- Recipient of 2024 Dean's Outstanding Lecturer Award and Holman Teaching Award
- Developed innovative courses on Indigenous new media and fan culture
- Authored/co-authored peer-reviewed articles on decolonizing rhetoric and fan fiction pedagogy
