Melody Wise

Dr. Melody A. Wise is a Professor of English and Assessment Director in Academic Affairs at Glenville State College (GSC). She joined GSC in 2011 and holds roles including English Education Content Specialist, Institutional Assessment Coordinator, and Director of the GSC Writing Center. Previously, she served as Dean of Arts and Humanities at University of Arkansas Community College at Hope while pursuing her PhD. Her expertise spans composition, literacy education, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

• MA in Higher Education (Two-Year College Teaching, Composition & Rhetoric), University of Arkansas at Little Rock (2004)
• BSE in Speech and Theatre/English, Ouachita Baptist University (1978)
