Charlène Sueur

Charlène Sueur is a Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Biswajyoti Sahu Group and the NORPOD program. She earned a PharmD (2022) from Lille University, a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology & Advanced Therapies (2022) from Paris-Saclay, and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology (2025) from the University of Strasbourg, where she studied epigenetic regulation of tumor suppressor genes in cancer therapy resistance.

Research Interests: Epigenetics, gene regulation, cancer biology (gastric and colorectal cancers), CRISPR/dCas9-based tools, cis-regulatory elements, transcription factor networks, chromatin dynamics, and multi-omic analyses. Her current work focuses on mapping gene regulatory mechanisms in colorectal cancer using cell lines, organoids, and in vivo models.
