Charlie Porter-Baker is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Work, Care and Community within the School of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University. She serves as Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Youth Work program and teaches across multiple postgraduate and undergraduate courses including MA in Youth Work Leadership and Practice, FdA Working with Children, Young People and Families, and BA (Hons) Youth Justice.
Career Overview: After earning her MA in Youth and Community Work (JNC accredited), Charlie practiced directly with young people in diverse settings such as youth clubs, detached youth work, and residential care before transitioning to academia.
