Charles Taylor is a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan (LSA). He holds a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan. His roles include Co-Faculty Coordinator of the CSP Summer Bridge Scholars Program and co-leader of the Opportunity Hub's 'Career-Centered Writing' initiative, partnering students with alumni and employers. Taylor has been actively involved in community engagement, including a NINI Grant-funded project (2018-19) and leadership in intercultural development committees.

His research and professional interests span academic writing pedagogy, intercultural education, and creative writing. His novels Dark Rhythm (2019) and Watching (2021) reflect his engagement with contemporary literary themes. He teaches ENGLISH 225-006 and 007 (Academic Argumentation) and maintains office hours in Angell Hall.
