Charles Pringle is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Central Washington University (CWU). He has 15+ years of experience in engineering, transitioning from private-sector manufacturing roles to academia in 2008. His professional background includes facilities management and technology implementation, complemented by certifications like Lean Bronze (2020) and Professional Engineer (2017).
Education: Pringle holds a Master of Science in Engineering Technology (MSET) from CWU (2007). His teaching spans courses like Statics, CAD/CAM Manufacturing, and Lean Manufacturing. He actively contributes to engineering education through research, including JCATI undergraduate projects on carbon fiber recycling and additive manufacturing lab studies.
