Scott Calahan is a Professor and Program Coordinator for Technology Education at Central Washington University (CWU). He has taught over 20 courses in the ETSC department and previously worked in public schools and manufacturing fields. His expertise spans Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, and technology education reform.
Research highlights include his role in the NSF-funded SNOCAMP project, which developed a nationwide manufacturing curriculum. He modernized the MET 345 course (Lean Manufacturing) emphasizing real-world lab experiences with electronic guitar kit production.
