Youjiang Wang is Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech, holding membership in ASME as a Fellow. Joined the faculty in 1989.
Research focuses on composite materials mechanics, textile manufacturing processes, fiber characterization, and sustainable fiber recycling. Specialties include geotextiles and textile structural composites.
As registered Professional Engineer, bridges theoretical research with industrial applications in materials engineering and sustainable manufacturing.
