Dr. Krassimir Dotchev is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Design and CAD/CAM/CAE at the University of Portsmouth's School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Technology. He specializes in teaching Engineering Design, CAD/CAM systems, Computer-Aided Engineering, and Advanced Modelling.
His research focuses on Additive Manufacturing, CAD/CAM systems, Rapid Product Development, and Manufacturing Processes. Key areas include laser sintering, powder bed fusion, and the application of these technologies in filtration systems and automotive engineering.
