Charles Noon is a Clinical Professor of Graduate and Executive Education and Professor Emeritus at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has served as department head in the Department of Business Analytics and Statistics and has a 36-year career at UT, teaching across various programs. He co-founded the Physician Executive MBA program in 1998 and remains actively involved. His expertise spans applied optimization, healthcare analytics, and lean operations.

Applied Experience & Contributions: Noon has advised healthcare systems globally on capacity planning and process improvement through his firm X32 Healthcare (now part of TeamHealth). He co-authored a leading book on emergency department operations improvement and is a faculty member at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. His applied projects include collaborations with Philips, Dell, TVA, and others.
