Charles Lindsey

Charles Lindsey is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Marketing Faculty Director of the Online and Professional MBA Programs at the School of Management, University at Buffalo. He also chairs the Teaching Effectiveness Committee. Lindsey holds a PhD from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, an MBA from St. Louis University’s Cook School of Business, and a BS in Marketing from the same institution.

His research focuses on customer relationship management, e-commerce channel management, web and statistical analytics, and consumer spending patterns. His work has been published in top-tier journals like the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, and Marketing Science. He has also contributed to Fortune Magazine and been featured in major media outlets such as Wall Street Journal and Forbes.

Recent research trends include analyzing comparative advertising effects, consumer trust dynamics, and brand loyalty mechanisms. His articles frequently explore intersections between cognitive psychology and market behavior.

He oversees the Behavioral Research Lab at UB, exploring applied consumer behavior insights. His industry experience includes roles at Harrisons & Crosfield, Boatman’s Bancshares, and Yum Brands.
