Charles Jones is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario, specializing in contemporary political theory and the history of political thought. His work focuses on global justice, human rights, freedom, and equality.

His research includes two major projects: (1) A World of Equals, addressing distributive justice and equality's moral value, and (2) The Origin of Human Rights, analyzing historical accounts through philosophical conceptions. His publications span books and articles on cosmopolitanism, multiculturalism, and institutional ethics.
