Charla Huber is an Indigenous relations and communications consultant with a strong background in bridging Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. She is an associate faculty member at Royal Roads University's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, where she contributes to culturally appropriate communication strategies.

Her research focuses on Indigenous ways of communicating to improve employer support for Indigenous employees, emphasizing inclusive practices across sectors. She has worked with over 100 Indigenous communities in Canada, particularly in British Columbia, to navigate partnerships, reconciliation, and cultural integration in corporate communications.
Huber contributes to the Times Colonist as a weekly columnist on Indigenous issues and serves in leadership roles for community and institutional engagement:
