Chandi Edmonds

Dr. Chandi Edmonds is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Tufts University School of Medicine. She concurrently serves as Assistant Director of Clinical Education for the DPT Seattle program. Her expertise spans pediatric physical therapy, diversity in healthcare education, and accessible therapeutic interventions for underserved communities.

Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy (2014).

Research Interests: Dr. Edmonds focuses on integrating equity into healthcare education, physical activity’s role in child development, and innovative, low-cost therapies for under-resourced populations. She bridges clinical practice with community outreach, advocating for Pilates/yoga adaptations for children with special needs and exploring movement’s impact on learning.
