Sarah Balys Pawlowsky is an Associate Clinical Professor at San Francisco State University (SFSU) and serves as the Assistant Director of Clinical Education. Her academic affiliation links to the University of California system through her dual-degree programs with UCSF. She holds a BA in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley (2001), an MSPT (2004), and a DPT (2007) from the UCSF/SFSU Physical Therapy Program.

- LILA Study: Physical conditioning vs. yoga for women with urinary incontinence (in progress).
- POPPY Study: Exercise vs. yoga for pelvic pain in women (in progress).
- ARC Study: Operative vs. non-operative treatments for rotator cuff tears (in progress).
As a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), she integrates clinical education with research to advance patient care practices.
