Chad Gratton is a Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), affiliated with the College of Science. He holds a BS from the State University of New York at Albany, an MA, and a PhD from the University of Rochester.
His teaching focuses on foundational mathematics courses for science and engineering students, including:
- Calculus I & II (MATH-181/MATH-182)
- Mathematics of Graphical Simulation I (MATH-185)
- Discrete Mathematics for Computing (MATH-190)
- Linear Algebra (MATH-241)
His research and instructional approach emphasize mathematical tools for computational modeling, geometry, and problem-solving in physical systems.
