Manuel Lopez is an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He is actively involved in teaching foundational and advanced mathematics courses with applications in computing, physics, and cryptography.

- PhD in Mathematics, Wesleyan University
Research Interests:
- Algebraic structures and their applications in computer science
- Mathematical foundations of cryptography and coding theory
- Interdisciplinary connections between mathematics, physics, and chemistry
