Dr. Cathleen Cummings is Professor of Art History at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in South Asian art—particularly Hindu temple architecture and Indian miniature painting. She teaches Asian art spanning Neolithic to contemporary periods, including Chinese, Japanese, Himalayan, and Islamic traditions.
