Cathi Dennehy

Cathi Dennehy is a Clinical Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She has served as the residency program director for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program from 2001–2017 and continues to mentor students and residents. Her expertise spans herbs, dietary supplements, and clinical pharmacy practice. She is theme director for gastrointestinal therapeutics and co-chair of the Interprofessional Core Classroom committee. She provides patient care in Anticoagulation and Transitions of Care clinics, precepting students and residents.

Publications: Her research spans herbal medicine efficacy, FDA compliance for dietary supplements, and interprofessional education innovations. Key areas include e-cigarette regulation, neonatal drug guidelines, and blended learning approaches for healthcare teams.
