Catherine Yeung is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. She also serves as an Investigator at the Kidney Research Institute under the Division of Nephrology.

Her research focuses on optimizing medication use in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), microfluidic models of kidney function, effects of uremia on drug transport, and impacts of microgravity on kidney structure. She pioneered a "kidney on a chip" microphysiological system for preclinical drug development.
Recent publications highlight her work in organ-on-a-chip technology, drug toxicity mechanisms, and hepatic-renal pharmacokinetic interactions. Articles explore applications in preclinical testing, aristolochic acid nephrotoxicity, and CKD-related drug clearance.
