Catherine Jones is a Lecturer at the University of Surrey's School of Mechanical Engineering Sciences. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as a Personal Tutor, Social Co-ordinator for Mechanical Engineering Sciences, and a member of the University of Surrey Women's Engineering Society Partnership Working Group. She also manages the Social Media Accounts for the School.
Her qualifications include a PGCE Secondary Maths (2021) from the University of Cambridge and an MEng Mechanical Engineering (2018) from the University of Bath.
She is affiliated with the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications as an Associate Member and holds a Secondary Membership with The Mathematical Association.
Her teaching focuses on foundational and applied engineering courses, including Experimental and Transferable Skills, Mathematics, Design Projects, and Materials & Statics.
