Catherine J. Wu

Catherine J. Wu, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She holds the Lavine Family Chair for Preventative Cancer Therapies and is affiliated with the Hematologic Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation centers. Her clinical expertise spans acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, sickle cell anemia, and stem cell transplantation. Dr. Wu’s research focuses on immune response targets in therapies and mechanisms underlying effective human antitumor responses.

Dr. Wu earned her MD from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare. She is board-certified in Hematology (2002), Internal Medicine (1997), and Medical Oncology (2001).
