Dr. Robert J. Soiffer is the Worthington and Margaret Collette Professor of Medicine in Hematologic Oncology at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He specializes in medical oncology, focusing on leukemia, lymphoma, and stem cell transplantation. His roles include leading the Adult Stem Cell Transplantation Program and serving on national committees like the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR).
- Education: MD from New York University School of Medicine (1983), residency and fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Research interests center on immune modulation in hematologic malignancies, particularly graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effects in stem cell transplantation.
