Catherine Buell is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Fitchburg State University's School of Health and Natural Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University (2011) and focuses on algebraic structures, symmetric spaces, and mathematics education.
- Research Interests: Algebraic Group Theory, Symmetric Spaces, Lie Groups, Mathematics Education, Visual Stylometry, and Social Justice Integration.
