Cassie Price serves as Head of Programme Development and Academic Quality at York St John University's London Campus and Chair of the School Quality Panel. She also acts as the London Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, having previously served as Co-Institutional Lead for Athena Swan.
Beginning her higher education career in 2009 as a Lecturer in land-based sciences, she transitioned to senior management in 2015. Her work spans academic development, quality assurance, and student experience enhancement across the London campus, collaborating with learning and wellness teams, the student hub, and campus management to foster inclusive educational environments.
Her research focuses on intersectional inclusion, equity, and organizational culture in higher education. As a widening participation student from a mixed-heritage, working-class background who has become a senior female leader and mother, she integrates personal experience with professional expertise in her scholarship.
Currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Education and Social Justice at Lancaster University, her scholarly work examines systemic barriers and inclusive practices within academic institutions, contributing to broader discussions about social justice in education.
