Dr. Cassandra Thoars is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania's Trauma-Informed Practice Lab within the School of Education. She holds a PhD from the University of Tasmania and specializes in youth offender education and trauma-informed practices across educational and justice systems.
Her research examines:
- Education engagement strategies for incarcerated youth
- Trauma-responsive teaching methodologies
- Policy analysis of youth justice systems
- Interdisciplinary collaboration frameworks
