Assistant Professor Cassandra Lo specializes in trauma-informed teaching strategies and supports educators of color. She teaches at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) within the Department of Education, emphasizing pedagogical approaches that consider student perspectives and mental health. Her research focuses on how educators can better support students affected by trauma, stemming from her experience as a high school English/journalism teacher in New Jersey.
