Cascade Tuholske is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Montana State University. He previously held a postdoctoral position at Columbia University's Earth Institute and Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN). His research focuses on the intersection of urbanization, climate change, and food security, with a particular emphasis on extreme heat events and sustainable development.

His research has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.
