Caroline Wong

Dr Caroline Wong is the Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching and Associate Professor of Business at the School of Business, James Cook University Singapore. She holds a PhD in International Business from the Australian National University (2004–2008) and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Her research focuses on knowledge management, urban planning, and sustainable development. She has contributed to Singapore's recognition as a knowledge-based city, receiving awards like the 2023 JCU Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.

Her research spans sustainable urban planning, aging population well-being, and smart city innovations, with publications addressing tropical urban challenges like waste management and vertical farming. She actively engages with industry and government, advising on knowledge city transformations (e.g., Potsdam, Germany) and urban policy debates. Her teaching interests include Management, International Business, and Leadership.
