Caroline Rhodes

Caroline Rhodes is a Senior Lecturer and Co-Course Lead in the Department of Allied Health Professions at Sheffield Hallam University. With 20+ years of experience, she specializes in art therapy for children and adolescents affected by neurodiversity, trauma, mental health issues, and learning disabilities. Her work spans educational settings, safeguarding services, and community projects.

Research focuses on art therapy interventions to improve school attendance and engagement. Current projects include developing data collection systems for efficacy evaluation in collaboration with Nexus Multi-Academy Trust.

Teaching includes modules such as Professional Reflective Practice and Theories and Contexts for the MA Art Psychotherapy program.
