Carole DANIEL is a Professor at SKEMA Business School, France, and a member of the SKEMA Centre for Sustainability Studies. Her academic career spans over 25 years, with roles including Vice Director for the Master in Management, Associate Dean for International Accreditations, Head of the Project Management Department, and Academic Director of the Executive MBA. She holds a Doctorat ès Sciences de Gestion from Université de Lille (2005), and has extensive professional experience in project management and marketing roles prior to academia.
Dr. DANIEL's research focuses on Mindfulness, exploring its applications in organizational behavior, sustainable consumer behavior, project management, and work-life balance. Her work bridges psychological insights with practical interventions to enhance ethical decision-making, reduce workplace stress, and improve project outcomes. Key areas include mindfulness-based stress reduction training, avaricious monetary attitudes, and mindfulness in complex project environments.
Her publications appear in top-tier journals such as Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Management Reviews, and Project Leadership and Society. She is a frequent contributor to The Conversation and Harvard Business Review, translating academic research into accessible insights for broader audiences.
