Prof. Franck Barès is a Professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at HEC Montréal. He holds a Doctorat en Sciences de gestion from Université Nancy 2 and advanced degrees in Management and Organizational Studies. His expertise centers on entrepreneurship, strategic innovation, and business support systems.
Education: Doctorat (Sciences de gestion), Université Nancy 2; DEA (Sciences de gestion), Université Nancy 2; DESS (Gestion des hommes et des organisations), Université de Metz.
Research Interests: Prof. Barès focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystems, brand community dynamics, and digital transformation in retail. His work explores topics such as consumer activism, diaspora-driven brand co-creation, and the integration of omnichannel experiences. Recent studies analyze trends in international management journals and evaluate stress factors in nascent entrepreneurs.
Publications: Over the past five years, he has authored/co-authored 12 journal articles, 3 books, and 4 peer-reviewed case studies.
