Carol W. Hamilton is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at James Madison University's College of Business. She holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from JMU (1997) and a B.S. in Administrative Management from Clemson University (1980). Her teaching and research focus on the impact of identity and dignity on economic performance, conflict resolution, and transformational change. She has held leadership roles, including Director of the JMU Center for Entrepreneurship (2012-2016) and founder of the Valley Microenterprise Alliance (1999–2005).
