Mert Tokman is a Professor of Marketing and International Business at James Madison University (JMU), holding the Kenneth R. Bartee Endowed Professorship. He serves as Program Co-coordinator for the Global Supply Chain Management Minor and teaches in the MBA program. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from the University of Alabama, an M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, and a B.B.A. from the University of Istanbul.
Dr. Tokman's research focuses on interfirm relationships in value-creation chains, strategic issues in international marketing channels, and logistics. His work bridges marketing and supply chain management, examining how logistical performance impacts brand perceptions and consumer behavior. He has published extensively in journals like Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Logistics, and International Journal of Logistics Management.
