Carol Sisson is a Professor of Education at Taylor University and serves as Director of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). She is an active member of the President's Cabinet and currently functions as Faculty Vice Moderator. Her academic journey includes degrees in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, and Psychology.

Sisson's research focuses on pedagogy, intercultural competency development, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). She has designed teaching practicums for non-immersive cultural experiences and explored knowledge mobilization strategies to implement SoTL findings in classrooms. Her work emphasizes critical thinking dispositions and educational equity.
Recent publications include studies on SoTL dissemination models at ISSOTL conferences (2022-2023) and intercultural competency frameworks for ICCTE. She received the Burnworth Teaching Award and Alumni Association Distinguished Professor Award, with grants for diversity initiatives from Indiana Campus Compact.
